K2.NET Developers Training

Last March 6 – 10, a group of ABs developer (Maila Solomon, Meryl Martinez, Cards Ogayon) and Aika Aguilar from D&A attended the K2.NET Developers Training Course which was held at Phoenix One Knowledge Solutions, Inc. located at the heart of Makati City.

K2 is a platform used to develop business applications with or without writing any code. Applications consist of a combination of Data, Forms, Workflows and Reports. K2 can be integrated with many systems using SmartObject technology, and build powerful workflows that automate human-to-human and human-to-sys-tem business processes. K2 will be utilized as a standard platform for CIC workflow applications.

The training was conducted by a Mr. James Kho, a Singapore based K2 Learning Specialist. Mr. James discussed the Introduction to K2, introduced the Smart Objects and Smart Forms. He also instructed the trainees on how to use K2 Designer and K2 Studio. Creating rapid/robust workflow designs were is one of the main part of the training. Hands on exercises were conducted in order for the trainees to experience first-hand K2 development and debugging.

The trainees were actively participating throughout the course. Asking every possible inquiry which will be helpful for ABs’/ICT’s future K2 operations.
